Last week I did a thing I have never done before. I launched a book! At this point, I’ve written almost 4 books, but I had never actually launched any, or really done much of anything to announce their completion. So last Saturday, I RE-launched book #1 in my Camilla Crim series, The Sacrifice of One, and it was such an amazing experience!

The week leading up to it, I posted some fun stuff to my blog like a quiz, a profile of my main character, Camilla, and a map of Camilla’s world to build up to launch day. I enjoyed telling all of you about my book, my characters, and the world they live in!

Then I did something really scary… The day of the launch I did a Facebook live, digital launch party! I was so nervous, but I ended up having such a good time. You can re-watch that launch party HERE.

So, all of that to say, I’d like to thank all of the people that helped me get to launch day. First and foremost, my husband has been a huge cheerleader, even when I was doing things that I had serious doubts about. He kept pushing me forward! I’d also like to thank my Street Team for reading, reviewing, shouting about my book from the mountain tops! This is the first time I’ve ever had a Street Team (or launch team), and I now see how vital they are.

I’m now putting all my focus on finishing the draft for The Dark Ruler, and gearing up for my next RE-launch of book #2, The Bear Gap Rebels! I’ll be RE-launching that on August 1st, so stick around for more fun, launch stuff! (My critique group would tell me to come up with a better word than stuff, but my brain is fried from the launch, so we’re just going to go with it…)

Tomorrow (Saturday, the 27th) is the last day that you can buy the Kindle version of The Sacrifice of One for only $.99, so make sure you pop over HERE and snag a copy before the price goes up. The Sacrifice of One is also available at Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, and Kobo, and you can grab a really beautiful paperback copy from Amazon!

Thank you again to everyone who made this launch amazing!
